Last week I had a stall at Sheffield Print Fair which was great fun! I wanted to get something new and seasonal done in time for it, so I opted for an Autumnal print, based on one of the many starlings currently hopping around the car park where I do my shopping. I wanted to experiment with colour and with two different but still complimentary layers. It was inspired by the likes of Mark Hearld and Geninne Zlatkis, and I'm hoping will form part of a series of four bird/seasonal linocuts. Watch this space!
